Plane + weapons + companion, exportable.

Loadout Builder

The loadout builder lets you mix and match every Hostile Skies plane with the available weapons and companions. Pick a plane from the dropdown, choose weapons, pick a companion, and export the result as plain text you can paste into Discord.

How it works

  1. Pick a team (Allied or Axis).
  2. Pick a plane from the dropdown. The plane’s hardpoint count restricts weapon picks.
  3. Pick weapons to fill each hardpoint.
  4. Pick a companion from the Companion tier list.
  5. Click Export to copy the loadout as text.

Tips

Why export as text

Text exports are easy to share with squadmates, easy to back up, and easy to paste into the Loadout macro script for one-key swap inside the game.

Suggested loadouts to try first

  • Energy fighter: P-51D Mustang + twin .50 cals + Engineer.
  • Bomber hunter: P-38 Lightning + 20mm + bombs + Radar Officer.
  • Jet ace: Gloster Meteor + twin 20mm + Engineer.

These are the canonical picks from the Loadout tier list.

When to revisit

After every major patch, re-pick your loadout. The plane meta changes, but the loadout concept (energy vs turn vs bomber) usually holds.

Common mistakes

  • Picking a starter plane for an event loadout — bring a multi-role or jet.
  • Skipping the companion — even a Mascot gives cosmetic flair.
  • Ignoring the hardpoint count — you cannot fit four cannons on a starter.

What the builder does not do

  • It does not save your loadout to the wiki.
  • It does not validate against your current unlocks.
  • It does not sync with the in-game inventory.

How the builder works

The builder reads the plane list, weapon list, and companion list from the Loadout tier list. Pick a plane, fill the hardpoints, pick a companion, and the builder exports a plain-text loadout string you can paste anywhere.

How to share a loadout

The export button copies the loadout string to your clipboard. Paste it into Discord, your squad chat, or the Loadout macro helper for one-key swap in-game.
