The pet-tier helper overlays each companion’s tier and roll quality directly in the lobby UI. You can sort the roster by tier and copy stats to clipboard for theorycrafting posts on the community Discord.

Setup
- Launch Hostile Skies and visit the lobby.
- Open the helper and confirm it found your companion list.
- Toggle the overlay and inspect your roster.
- Use the sort button to group companions by power for fast decisions.
When to use it
Use the helper before you enter a squad lobby so you can pick the right copilot without alt-tabbing to the wiki. Disable it once you are in the cockpit; it is designed for the lobby only.
How the tier values are computed
The helper reads the same stats the wiki uses. It does not invent ratings — it shows what the Companion tier list would assign based on your roster.
Why use the compare mode
Compare mode highlights the two companions side by side. Use it when you have one strong and one niche companion and want to decide which to bring into the next sortie.
Performance impact
The helper reads from the local save file. It does not interact with the network, so it has zero in-game performance cost. Close it before you fly to free the overlay.
When to disable
- During competitive matches where the overlay might leak your roster.
- During beta sessions when the helper may not have the latest stats.

How the pet tier helper reads your roster
The helper reads the local save file and lists every companion you own. It then maps each companion to the wiki tier (S/A/B/C) and surfaces the IVs that are normally hidden in the in-game menu.
