One key, one loadout.

Loadout Macros

Loadout macros let you switch between saved plane configurations with a single key press. Each macro stores the plane, weapon set, skin, and ammo load-out so you can adapt between sorties without going through the menu.

What a macro stores

  • Plane choice (e.g. P-51 Mustang for energy fights).
  • Weapon load (e.g. twin .50 cals plus 250 lb bombs).
  • Skin / camouflage.
  • Optional boost toggle and ammo loadout.

Setup

  1. Configure your favourite plane in the in-game menu.
  2. Open the helper and bind a hotkey to that configuration.
  3. Repeat for each plane you switch between often.
  4. Tap the hotkey during a sortie to swap loadouts instantly.

Suggested loadouts

See the Loadout tier list for theorycrafted picks.

How to share macros with friends

The helper exports macros as plain text. Paste a full set into Discord and your squadmates can copy them into their own helper. Most competitive teams share a single loadout pack.

When to bind extra keys

If you have more than four favourite loadouts, use Shift+F1 through Shift+F4 to double the count. Anything more is hard to remember mid-fight.

Pair with the Loadout builder

Design the loadout in the Loadout builder, copy the export text, and paste it into the helper to save time.

Common mistakes

  • Binding the same key to two macros.
  • Using keys that conflict with in-game controls (G, F, B are common offenders).
  • Forgetting to update the macros after a balance patch.

When to update macros

After every major patch, open the helper and confirm the bindings. The helper will warn you if a plane is no longer meta.

What macros do not do

  • They do not change plane stats.
  • They do not unlock planes.
  • They do not interact with the server.

See the Loadout tier list for full builds by role.

How loadout macros work

A loadout macro stores a plane, a weapon set, a skin, and an ammo loadout. When you tap the bound hotkey, the helper sends the same key sequence you would use to pick that loadout from the in-game menu. The result is a one-key swap between saved configurations.

How to share macros

Most helpers export macros as plain text. Paste a full set into Discord and your squadmates can copy them into their own helper. Competitive teams share a single loadout pack so the squad always flies the same configurations.
