A leaderboard is the fastest way to find mentors and rivals. Pilots near the top of the board are the most active in the community and often share their loadouts on Discord. Pair the leaderboard with the Top players page to find pilots who main your favourite role.

Wiki methodology note

The players hub is recomputed weekly from the leaderboard snapshot, so the Top players list reflects activity from the last seven days, not lifetime stats. The methodology section on that page explains how the K/D ratio, win rate, and event placements are blended into the final score. The Plane stat database page is a glossary of every number you will see in the leaderboard — including weapon DPS, plane HP, and turn rate — so you can compare two top pilots on equal footing. Squad captains should pair the leaderboard with the Team strategy page, which describes the most common role splits at competitive ranks.

How squad roles map to the leaderboard

The top of the leaderboard is usually a mix of high-K/D duelists and high-event-placement support mains. Duelists win individual engagements and snowball the scoreboard with kill streaks; support mains play the obj, heal teammates, and rack up event placements that the win-rate column cannot see. If you are forming a competitive squad, recruit at least one of each: a duelist who can hold airspace and a support who can keep the duelist alive. New pilots who main support should not be discouraged by a lower K/D — event placements rank just as high in the methodology. Cross-link the role splits with the Loadout tier list so each player flies the right plane for their role.
